Washingtion Township takes great pride in helping a family who has lost a loved one. Dignity in burial for all who apply and qualify. Next-of-kin can apply for burial assistance for a deceased family member if there is no other resource to pay for such services, with the exception of Medicaid. The deceased’s household must be determined eligible for township assistance by completing an application and submitting required paperwork. We work with many area funeral homes in this stressful time of need
